Pulled Apart By Horses will headline Leeds Festival’s party-starting Dance To The Radio stage a year after they cancelled a performance there at the very last minute.

The Leeds band had played a show at the Reading leg as planned in 2014, but were unable to fulfill their hometown booking due to an undisclosed illness suffered by bass player Rob Lee.

Lee has written an open letter of apology to the festival after being invited back, which reads:

“Thank you so much for asking us to play again in 2015. I still really regret not being able to play last year. Leeds Fest is home for us, so being asked to open up the festival and headline on Thursday night is truly an honour. We promise to give you everything we have.”

Longtime drummer Lee Vincent departed the band in March, replaced by former Dinosaur Pile-Up man Tommy Davidson.
