Fidlar have posted a Ryan Baxley-directed video for ‘West Coast‘ which they hope will document the progression of the band during their years together. Have a watch below.
“The West Coast video was filmed on the East Coast,” they told BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac. “Filmed at a collection of shows. Some of it is old footage, some of it is new footage.”
“My brother-in-law and my sister really documented the whole growth of the band and with this video, we want to show that growth, from playing completely DIY house parties to playing Reading and Leeds.”
It precedes new album ‘Too’, which is released on September 4th. Before then there will be another new video from the band, this time with contributions from fans who are being asked to submit their own live Fidlar footage via the hashtag #FIDLARTOO on Tumblr, Twitter or Instagram by July 31st.
The results will then be premiered on August 7th.
