The new Villagers album ‘Darling Arithmetic‘ is streaming in full on NPR ahead of its release next week.
Conor O’Brien was in a converted barn loft just outside Dublin writing the follow-up to 2013’s ‘{Awayland}‘, dealing with ‘desire, obsession, lust, loneliness and confusion, and deeper into philosophical and existential territory, across a cast of lovers, friends, family and even strangers’.
A European tour has been booked to support the record and will begin in Rotterdam on April 11th. O’Brien’s in the UK by April 14th where he remains so until the start of May. The full itinerary is:
