The Cribs, Frank Turner, Palma Violets, Reverend & The Makers and Swim Deep have all joined up for this year’s Benicassim Festival.

The annual anglocentric Spanish event takes place between July 16th-19th, and also has Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Tiga, Curtis Harding, Evan Baggs, Gavin James, Hamsandwich, Madeon, The Riptide Movement and Vetusta Morla newly added to its bill.

They join headliners Blur, Portishead, The Prodigy and Florence & The Machine as well as other previously confirmed performers such as Noel Gallagher, Jamie T and Public Enemy.

The Cribs will be supporting their brand new album ‘For All My Sisters‘, of which Live4ever’s review began: “There’s a ridiculous amount of talk surrounding the latest record from The Cribs, ‘For All My Sisters‘.”

“Unfortunately, much of it has centred around the decision to employ Ric Ocasek (of The Cars fame) as producer; the thinking, somehow, that this is some bid by the Jarman brothers to go pop, and leave their punkier roots behind.”
