Bombay Bicycle Club, Wild Beasts and Royal Blood will compete for the Album Award at this year’s 60th annual Ivor Novellos.

Nominated acts were unveiled today (April 21st) ahead of a ceremony in London on May 21st. Elsewhere, Bear’s Den, Ben Howard and Hozier have been nominated for the ‘Best Song Musically and Lyrically’ prize, while Alt-J‘s hypnotic ‘Every Other Freckle‘ is along side tracks from Clean Bandit and FKA Twigs in the ‘Best Contemporary Song’ section.
