Conor O’Brien is previewing his latest Villagers album ‘Darling Arithmetic‘ with ‘Hot Scary Summer’, which can be heard below.
O’Brien’s follow-up to the 2013 album ‘{Awayland}‘ is out on April 13th and was recorded in his converted barn loft in Malahide, near Dublin. It deals with ‘desire, obsession, lust, loneliness and confusion, and deeper into philosophical and existential territory, across a cast of lovers, friends, family and even strangers’.
There’s a lengthy European tour in the works for Villagers starting in Rotterdam on April 11th.
