Unknown Mortal Orchestra announce more UK dates

Unknown Mortal Orchestra have announced four UK gigs this coming September as they ready the release of third album ‘Multi-Love‘ in May.

“It felt good to be rebelling against the typical view of what an artists is today, a curator,” Ruban Nielson has said of the album’s recording. “It’s more about being someone who makes things happen in concrete ways. Building old synthesizers and bringing them back to life, creating sounds that aren’t quite like anyone else’s. I think that’s much more subversive.”

The UK dates open in Brighton on September 22nd, and subsequently visit Birmingham, Manchester and Nottingham. They’re part of a wider run of dates around the world which start with another run of UK gigs in May.

UK tour dates:

Bristol, UK – Thekla (20)
London, UK – Islington Assembly Hall (21)
Coventry, UK – Warwick University (22)
Liverpool, UK – Liverpool Sound City (23)

Brighton Concorde 2 (22)
Birmingham The Institute (24)
Manchester The Ritz (25)
Nottingham The Rescue Rooms (28)
