The View will tour the UK from the end of this month in anticipation of the release of their new album ‘Ropewalk‘ on June 8th.
The album was produced by The Strokes‘ Albert Hammond Jr. as well as Gus Oberg, and was mixed by Justin Gerrish. It’s being previewed with the single ‘Marriage‘ which can be heard below.
“I would say that this record has really taken us out of our comfort zone,” frontman Kyle Falconer believes. “It was a huge compliment having Albert and Gus produce the album and we’re really excited with the result. I think it’s our most inventive album yet, we really opened ourselves up to creative possibilities and thankfully the vision paid off. We can’t wait to get out there and play it live.”
