The Manic Street Preachers are planning to release the US version of their 1994 album ‘The Holy Bible‘ in Britain for the first time.

The band are doing so for this year’s Record Store Day celebrations following a re-release in 2014 to mark the album’s 20th anniversary. This version is being limited to just 1,500 copies and will be available on picture disc format.

Manic Street Preachers are taking their ‘Holy Bible’ celebrations to North America next month, with gigs in Washington DC, New York, Boston, Toronto and Chicago on the horizon after they completed a run of UK gigs towards the end of last year.

Meanwhile, Biffy Clyro have also confirmed their part in Record Store Day 2015 and will make the 2007 album ‘Puzzle’ available on vinyl for the first time on April 18th, limited to 3,000 copies.

The two bands join the likes of Foo Fighters, Johnny Marr and Noel Gallagher who have already announced special releases for next month in support of independent record shops.
