Brandon Flowers will take his second solo album ‘The Desired Effect‘ out on the road during a short UK tour in May.

The Killers frontman has dates lined up in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Leeds and Birmingham over the course of a week at the end of May, tickets go on general sale from 9am this coming Friday (March 27th).

The album’s first single, ‘Can’t Deny My Love‘, will get a first play on Annie Mac’s new Radio 1 show tonight (March 23rd) after recording sessions with producer Ariel Rechtshaid.

“It’s nice to steer the ship and that’s what you’d think I’d do on my own album, but I’m letting Ariel take over every now and then,” Flowers has told NME.

“That’s led to some really exciting things and sounds I would never have used. As I’ve gotten older I’m much more open to that – I’m much more open to peoples’ strengths and really trying to utilise them – and that’s where Ariel comes into the picture.”

Tour dates:

MAY
London Brixton Academy (21)
Manchester Academy (24)
Edinburgh Usher Hall (25)
Leeds O2 Academy (26)
Birmingham O2 Academy (28)
