TV On The Radio cancel UK tour due to drummer’s illness

TV On The Radio have revealed their drummer Jahphet Landis has been hospitalised for an undisclosed ‘medical emergency’, and therefore the band will not be able to fulfill a UK tour which was to start on February 16th in Edinburgh.

“It is with much regret that due to a health emergency, TV On The Radio have been forced to cancel their upcoming Europe/UK tour which is due to start this Friday,” a statement released to Pitchfork reads.

“Drummer, Jahphet is in the hospital; he will be ok but is not able to travel at this time. TV On The Radio would like to apologize to their European & UK fans and appreciate everyone’s understanding and well wishes for Jahphet at this time.”

Also due on the UK tour was stops in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and London. Other shows in Europe have also been cancelled, as the statement suggests, but at the moment their North American concerts remain unaffected.
