Trampolene will start 2015 with the release of a new single and mini digital album next month.

On March 16th, ‘Imagine Something Yesterday‘ (below) and ‘Pocket Album Two‘ are due for release through Mi7 Records. Meanwhile, amongst the band’s live commitments during the coming months is a spot on the Scene & Herd Indie All-Dayer schedule at the O2 Academy Leicester on February 21st, and another stint supporting Carl Barat & The Jackals in London on April 15th.

Trampolene’s 2014 single ‘I Don’t Know‘ was Live4ever’s #1 essential track of last year; frontman Jack Jones marked the occasion by talking us through the track’s origins:

“The riff was something I had been playing around with for ages, without knowing what to do with it,” he said. “Then, when we moved to London in the first year, we were practicing in the living room when these policemen knocked on the door and asked us to stay indoors because there was a riot going on in a nearby street – we were living in Hornsey by Wood Green.”

“So that night, while there was all these people rioting on our street, I sat down and wrote a song about it, which ended up being ‘I Don’t Know’.”
