Rough Trade will release a comprehensive collection of songs later this year celebrating over 30 years as one of the UK’s very best independent labels.
From the early success of The Smiths through to the twin assault of The Libertines and The Strokes at the start of this century, ‘Recorded at the Automat: The Best of Rough Trade Records‘ will tell a hugely important musical story across various formats from March 23rd.
More recent cuts from the likes of Parquet Courts, Warpaint, Alabama Shakes and Benjamin Booker are also on the compilation which will be available in triple CD, single CD, double LP and download forms.
