Shortly after confirming the rearranged details of the North American gigs which had to be cancelled last year as a consequence of the band being stuck in their tour bus for more than two days, Interpol have released a video for their ‘El Pintor‘ track ‘Everything Is Wrong‘.

The promo sees frontman Paul Banks teaming up again Carlos Puga and cameraman Carlos Veron. The single was released as a free download, backed with the brand new track ‘What Is What‘, when Interpol’s official website was relaunched with a new design courtesy of artist Shepard Fairey.
“The lyrics to ‘Everything Is Wrong’ are open to interpretation, but whether the song is about hard living, relationship failures, wear and tear on the environment, or an empire mentality, regret for poor decisions seems to be the theme,” Fairey said. “I decided to explore the idea of being complicit in a personal relationship or a relationship with a system that one realises is unhealthy.”
