The first additions to next year’s Flow Festival are being led by Alt-J and Florence & The Machine.

The festival will be held around Finland’s Suvilahti power plant area next August, and also has Major Lazer, Flying Lotus and Future Islands on its early bill.

Florence & The Machine already have plenty of other European festivals down for 2015, when they could have a new album at least ready to go after Florence Welch confirmed work on her follow-up to 2011’s ‘Ceremonials‘ is well underway.

Alt-J, meanwhile, will be proudly displaying the many virtues of this year’s ‘This Is All Yours‘ album, which is about to deliver them a pretty stunning headline appearance at Madison Square Garden.

“Like a distinctly British Yeasayer, Alt-J have an individual, warm and instantly familiar sound. Also like Yeasayer, they have a wonderful magpie nature, and appropriation is done with the brilliance of artists like Captain Beefheart, with an ability to take the form and function of a particular style of music and translate it into something truly their own,” our review reads.
