Carl Barat will take his new band The Jackals out to North America for a tour next March which includes their previously announced appearance at South By Southwest.
Barat formed The Jackals via an advertisement on Facebook after deciding a solo career wasn’t for him. His second solo album will now be released in a much different guise and with new wings added as The Jackals’ debut early next year.
2015 will be a busy year for Barat if plans to release a new album with The Libertines also come to fruition. It’s looking increasingly likely that they will, given that the band band recently signed a new deal Virgin EMI.
