Peace confirm second album ‘Happy People’

After a string of single releases this year, Peace have now confirmed their second album ‘Happy People‘ will be out on February 9th 2015.

The full tracklist is below and contains ‘Money‘, ‘Lost On Me‘ and ‘World Pleasure‘ – all of which we’ve heard fairly recently. Peace were recently supporting The Libertines at the band’s London Alexandra Palace shows in September, and now plan on heading out on their own tour of the UK running through January, February and March next year.

‘Happy People’ succeeds Peace’s 2013 debut album ‘In Love‘, of which Live4ever’s review ended: “Like many debuts, ‘In Love’ is as much an amalgamation of Peace’s record collection as it is an original, forward-thinking statement, and in less assured hands it could well have been a disaster. But it’s not.

“Why? Quite simply, because pound for pound these are ten of the best songs you will hear this year, baggy or otherwise. If you’ve already dismissed Peace as just another ‘hype’ band, think again – this is an album you’ll play again and again.”

‘Happy People’ tracklist:

‘O You’
‘Gen People’
‘Lost On Me’
‘Perfect Skin’
‘Happy People’
‘Someday’
‘Money’
‘I’m a Girl’
‘Under The Moon’
‘World Pleasure’
