Caribou remains at number one on the UK Record Store Chart for a second week ahead of high new entries from U2 and 2 Bears.

There’s another new entry inside the Top 10 from Ella Henderson, where Johnny Marr, Leonard Cohen and Alt-J have all remained this week.

Meanwhile, over on the main chart rundown U2’s lowest chart position since the early eighties – expected after the midweek update was released last Wednesday (October 15th) – has been confirmed. After the mixed response at best which met their decision to release ‘Songs Of Innocence‘ for free on iTunes, the physical version of the album has debuted at #6 – the first U2 LP to enter outside the Top 2 in the UK since 1981’s ‘October‘.
