The Cribs have shared a picture (below) of a studio visit from Dave Grohl as they press on with work on a new album.
The Jarman brothers have enlisted former Cars man Ric Ocasek, who is also in the snap, as producer having left their former home of Wichita Recordings for Sony RED after a decade, in anticipation of the release of their sixth LP some time next year.
“For us it was really, really hard, we haven’t really spoken about it,” bass player Gary previously told BBC Newsbeat of the break. “It was difficult really, we’ve been with Wichita a long time, so it was really hard, it was like a break up with a girlfriend.”
Meanwhile, from next Monday (October 13th) Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters will start a week-long residency on The Late Show…With David Letterman in the US not long before their new record ‘Sonic Highways‘ is released. Special guests are promised, and Grohl will be chewing the fat with Letterman on the first evening.
