Eric Clapton lands at number one on UK Record Store Chart

Eric Clapton‘s new album which celebrates the life of JJ Cale, who died last year, has topped the UK Record Store Chart.

Eric Clapton & Friends: The Breeze‘ is immediately ahead of other new entries from Struts and Tom Petty with King Creosote, last week’s number one, at #4.

The Record Store Chart was launched in 2012 and is compiled entirely from sales registered at the UK’s leading independent music outlets.
