Jamie T finally signalled his return last week when new track ‘Don’t You Find‘ was premiered by BBC DJ Zane Lowe, while live dates at the Glasgow Art School (July 29th), Liverpool Kazimier (30th), Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms (31st) and Tufnell Park Dome, London (August 7th) were also confirmed.
‘Carry On The Grudge’ is to be released on October 6th after first being mooted by former Tribes frontman Johnny Lloyd, who revealed to Topman last summer he had been in the studio with Jamie.
“I’m playing with Jamie T at the moment,” he said. “He’s finishing his new album. I occasionally guest on stuff, but I want to be in control. Jamie’s record is great, it’s really slow, angry punk. He’s a classic character. I know if I walked down Denmark Street now he’d be in the pub.”
