Five UK arena dates have been scheduled by The Black Keys as the duo’s live journey behind the eighth studio album ‘Turn Blue‘ stretches into 2015.
The tour will firstly take Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney to the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester on February 27th. From there they’ll visit the Birmingham LG Arena on the final day of that month, and bring in March with a show at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena. There’s then a visit to London’s O2 Arena on March 3rd and a final gig at the First Direct Arena in Leeds on March 5th.
“Eight albums in, the gauntlet has consistently been laid down and surpassed by The Black Keys during an ever-evolving career,” Live4ever’s ‘Turn Blue’ review reads.
“This time the challenge has never been greater, but in boasting the right heartbeat, horsepower and appropriate chord changes from major to minor, ‘Turn Blue’ is on its way to eclipsing all that even ‘El Camino’ swallowed up.”
