Distinctly smoother around the edges than what we’ve become used to from the band, the track will feature on their third studio LP when it hits the shelves in September.
More recognisable was first single ‘Hot Squash‘, released on June 23rd and whose creation was described by drummer Lee Vincent thus: “When we were writing and recording ‘Hot Squash’ I had just watched the film,” he said, referring to the Paul Thomas Anderson movie The Master.
“Being a massive PTA fan I was blown away as usual and feeling suitably inspired I wrote a few lines of lyrics about cults and brainwashing. Tom elaborated on these and Hot Squash was born! I love the ambiguity of ‘The Master’, attacking such a huge subject with such subtlety is just genius in my eyes.”
