Gallery: The Courteeners play new songs during London 100 Club gig

New songs due to feature on the forthcoming ‘Concrete Love‘ album were given an airing by The Courteeners earlier this week during an intimate gig at the 100 Club in London. Live4ever’s Andy Crossland was in attendance – check out the live gallery in full by clicking on the snapshot below.

Of the new material, ‘Summer‘ was received particularly well by the crowd who were already joining in with every word. It will be available when the band’s fourth LP hits the shelves on August 18th.

‘Concrete Love’ is the result of writing and recording sessions on the part of frontman Liam Fray in Montmartre with regular producer Joe Cross. A deluxe CD/DVD version is to offer a live album which captures the band at the Castlefield Bowl last year.

Its release has been lined-up to compliment the band’s forthcoming headline performance on the Radio 1 stage of the Reading/Leeds festival next month.
