Damon Albarn will be at the Royal Albert Hall in London with his backing band The Heavy Seas for a one-off show later this year.
Albarn has promised some ‘very special guests’ when he performs at the venue on November 15th, with tickets on sale from this coming Friday (August 1st), priced between £35-£65.
Meanwhile, another slice of solo material has been unveiled by Albarn after the release of his debut solo album ‘Everyday Robots‘ back in April. ‘Sister Rust‘ is his contribution to the Lucy soundtrack; a new action film which stars Scarlett Johansson and opens in the UK on August 22nd. Always a busy boy, last year also saw Albarn working on new material with his Blur bandmates, but speaking to NME this week, he’s said that album may prove to be, ‘One of those records that never comes out‘.
