The Jim Jones Revue will embark on a ‘farewell’ tour of Europe later this year after coming to the decision to end the band after nearly a decade and three studio albums.

A short message to fans on their official Facebook page reads, ‘We’ve had seven brilliant years, huge thanks for all your incredible support’, and is posted along with details of a final tour which kicks off in France on September 11th. UK dates will take place in Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Brighton, Norwich and London.

The Jim Jones Revue released their self-titled debut album in 2008 after bursting out with rollicking old-school singles such as the still electrifying ‘Princess & The Frog‘. ‘Burning Your House Down‘ followed two years later, while ‘The Savage Heart‘ completed the story in 2012.
