Roger Daltrey joined Paul Weller on stage at Bedgebury Pinetum & Forest near Tunbridge Wells in Kent last weekend as a couple of Who classics were brought out by the pair – watch fan footage of ‘Substitute‘ below.
Saturday’s (June 21st) gig was part of Weller’s ongoing Forestry Commission concerts which started Sherwood Pines in Nottinghamshire on the 14th and is set to visit Dalby Forest in North Yorkshire on the 27th, Cannock Chase Forest in Staffordshire a day later and finally Delamere Forest in Cheshire on July 4th.
“It’s a favourite summer jaunt for me so I look forward to performing in a few of the forests that I haven’t played in a good while,” Weller said of the shows.
After the forest gigs, Weller has three more of his own dates coming up in July at Warwick Castle, Cardiff Castle and Audley End. He also plays the T In The Park festival next month.
