Ed Sheeran tops UK Record Store Chart

Ed Sheeran‘s new LP ‘x‘ is at number one on the UK Record Store Chart this week, dethroning Klaxons‘ ‘Love Frequency‘ which drops to #12.

On the UK’s main chart rundown, ‘x’ has surpassed Coldplay‘s ‘Ghost Stories‘ to become the fastest selling album of 2014 so far after shifting 182,000 copies this week.

Elsewhere on the Record Store Chart, Jack White, Lana Del Rey and First Aid Kid all hold on to their positions from last week, while Kasabian‘s ‘48:13‘ is at #7.
