Alt-J will give their fans a first taste of second album ‘This Is All Yours‘ when the new track ‘Hunger Of The Pine‘ is premiered next week.
The band confirmed the details of the successor to their debut album ‘An Awesome Wave‘ – which had critics drooling and landed the 2012 Mercury Music Prize – earlier this week, and will have it released through Infectious on September 22nd.
Before then, ‘Hunger Of The Pine’ is to get its first play on June 18th.
A tour of the UK is due to come about and will keep the band on the road for the immediate build-up and aftermath of their second LP’s release. The short run of UK and Ireland gigs start on September 18th at the Glasgow O2 Academy, and then take in shows at the Manchester Apollo (19th), Wolverhampton Civic Hall (22nd), Brighton Centre (23rd) and the Alexandra Palace in London on the 24th.
After that, they hop on a ferry for a concert at the O2 Arena in Dublin on September 27th.
