Live4ever’s New Tunes Guide: Nine Black Alps’ Camden Rocks Special

ntg1

As Camden Rocks 2014 kicks off today (May 31st), this weekend’s New Tunes Guide is guest edited by one of the event’s main acts, Nine Black Alps, who have picked out ten of their must-sees from the more than 200 who will be playing across 20 venues in London.

Amongst those selected by Nine Black Alps guitarist David Jones is VerseChorusVerse, the solo monikor of former And So I Watch You From Afar member Tony Wright, whom David describes as being ‘simply amazing’. “Voice to die for, guitar playing to aspire to.”

There’s also Dinosaur Pile-up; “Loud music done properly. Great songwriting. Really want to catch them live or tour together,” Young Aviators; “We simply love this band. They should headline,” The Virginmarys; “They are on after us at Dingwalls, so we want to make friends,” and plenty more.

Nine Black Alps play Dingwalls as part of Camden Rocks from 9pm tonight.
