Blood Red Shoes‘ video for their new single ‘Speech Coma’ has been premiered, watch in all its gruesome glory by clicking on the snapshot below.
‘Speech Coma’ is out through Jazz Life on June 2nd, and now has a promo directed by Brian and Karl. “With Speech Coma we wanted the video to represent the unsettling nature of the song,” singer Laura Mary Carter remarks. “We liked the idea of it being gory, weird and unnerving.”
The track is taken from Blood Red Shoes’ recent self-titled album. “As with all their records, this latest iteration of punk infused blasts provides enough of a departure from previous albums to keep things interesting, with the vocal dynamics of the pair lending themselves to a continually intriguing creative connection which is best viewed live on their forthcoming UK and festival tour in order to fully appreciate Blood Red Shoes’ primal resonance,” Live4ever’s review concludes.
