The View will appear across the UK for four special DJ gigs at the This Feeling club nights later this month.

The band, who are currently in the initial stages of recording a new album, will be the guests of This Feeling at Edinburgh’s Voodoo Rooms tomorrow night (April 4th), the Record Factory in Glasgow on April 5th,  London’s Queen Of Hoxton (April 12th) and finally the Sheffield Leadmill on April 19th.

The View were last active studio-wise back in 2012 with their fourth album ‘Cheeky For a Reason‘, of which our review concluded:

“In the lead up to this release, The View likened ‘Cheeky For a Reason‘ to Fleetwood Mac. For the most part – and for better or worse – it’s a fairly misleading comparison. The exception to this rule is ‘The Clock‘; a dark slow burner that lies somewhere between ‘Dreams‘ and ‘Rhiannon‘. Unsurprisingly, it’s the most mature sounding song on the album, and a worthy new direction if the band so choose.”
