New Lykke Li album streaming online

Lykke Li‘s new album ‘I Never Learn‘ is available to preview in full over at NPR before an official release arrives next week.

‘Gunshot‘ and chief single ‘No Rest For The Wicked‘ have already offered glimpses of the follow-up to 2011′s ‘Wounded Rhymes‘, with the Swedish songwriter explaining of the latter:

“‘No Rest For The Wicked’ is the second song I wrote for ‘I Never Learn’. I wrote it in Sweden when I was packing up my shit, and I’d just gotten out of a relationship and it was a horrible time. I just had the hurt, shame, sadness, guilt, longing. The vocal track, the take, is the demo. In the verse, I’m referring to myself pleading guilty but I’m referring to all of us.”

‘I Never Learn’ is released on May 5th and will be supported with two nights at the Village Underground in London on the 8th and 9th of that month.
