Krist Novoselic has teased the possibility of himself and Dave Grohl performing live at this month’s Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony when Nirvana become one of the latest inductees.

Writing on Twitter, Novoselic said he has been ‘getting his bass tabs up to speed’ with this year’s bash set to take place in just under a week’s time (April 10th) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Former R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe is due to formally induct the band, who have been recognised at pretty much the earliest opportunity.

Peter Gabriel, Cat Stevens, Kiss, Hall & Oates and Linda Ronstadt are the other acts to have made the cut for 2014.

Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl have been active together onstage in the not-too-distant past when playing a part in the Sound City Players – a supergroup initiated by Grohl to support his Sound City Studios documentary.
