Jane’s Addiction will be in the UK later this year for shows in Manchester and London when their 1988 debut studio album ‘Nothing’s Shocking‘ is lined up to be performed in its entirety.

“Shows around that time were always a collection of new songs and older songs,” guitarist Dave Navarro recalls with NME. “I remember on the Nothing’s Shocking tour we were playing songs from ‘Ritual…’ which was yet to be released.”

“I’m really, really looking forward to playing it through. Stephen Perkins, Chris Chaney and I have played it a number of times together backstage where we have another set of guitars, amps and drums for warming up on. Last tour we played ‘Nothing’s Shocking’ all the way through and it sounded fantastic.”

The band play London’s Brixton Academy on August 20th and then move north to the Manchester Apollo a day later. Tickets go onsale from this coming Friday (May 2nd) at 9am.
