Beck should have a second album by the end of 2014 not so long after ‘Morning Phase‘ dropped anchor earlier this year.
“I’ve been working on and off on a different set of songs,” Beck has told US radio station KCRW during a live set, adding that the new tracks have a more ‘boisterous’ edge when compared to those on ‘Morning Phase’. “You’re screwed with any kind of adjective but hopefully we’ll get it out this year,” he concluded.
Beck’s a busy bee at the moment and is due to perform the second edition of Coachella today (April 18th), after which his own headline North American dates will resume in Tucson, Arizona at the Rialto Theater on April 23rd.
Early September brings him to UK shores for festival appearances at Bestival on the Isle Of Wight and Festival No. 6 where the likes of London Grammar, Temples, Steve Mason, Jimi Goodwin and Los Campesinos! also play.
