The Rolling Stones have joined the Arctic Monkeys as headliners at this year’s Roskilde festival in Denmark.

“For years, we have dreamed of the moment when we got the opportunity to reunite The Rolling Stones with the Orange Stage at Roskilde Festival,” the event’s head of programme Anders Wahrén says in a statement.

Roskilde is held this year between June 29th-July 6th, and also has Damon Albarn, Outkast, Warpaint, Deerhunter, Earl Sweatshirt, Haim, Kasabian, Moderat and many others on its bill.

The announcement adds to The Rolling Stones’ European festival plans, which is also set to take in visits to the Netherlands’ Pinkpop on June 7th and the TW Classic Festival in Belgium on the 28th.

Their Australasia tour, originally scheduled for this month, has been put back to October after the sudden death of Mick Jagger‘s girlfriend L’Wren Scott.

“If the new dates are not suitable, rest assured you will be able to secure a refund,” promoters Frontier Touring said. “While we encourage fans to hold on to their tickets, the option to secure a refund is now available to you via the official ticketing agency you purchased from.”
