Pixies‘ recent penchant for new music will finally deliver a full length studio album next month – the band’s first for more than two decades.

Foreshadowed by last year’s ‘EP1‘ and the more recent ‘EP2‘ and ‘EP3‘, ‘Indie Cindy‘ will be released on April 28th complete with tracks from those previous extended players together on one collection for the first time.

“We started seriously talking about recording new music about four years ago,” Pixies drummer David Lovering explains. “New music seemed like something we just had to do, we just couldn’t continue to go out and tour without anything new. So the talk evolved into writing and recording, and we’re all very happy with the way everything worked out.”

In support of this year’s Record Store Day, the album is to be made available on April 19th on special limited edition two-disc, deluxe gatefold and 180-gram vinyl set formats from participating independent record shops worldwide.

‘What Goes Boom’

‘Bagboy’
‘Magdalena 318’
‘Silver Snail’
‘Blue Eyed Hexe’
‘Ring the Bell’
