As they continue to chip away at the follow-up to last year’s raucously entertaining debut ‘180‘, Palma Violets have laid out plans for a tour of the UK and Ireland next month.
The band will spend most of their time in Ireland and Scotland, with shows in Limerick, Belfast, Dublin, Galway, Cork, Inverness, Stornoway, Aberdeen and Dundee due ahead of a final gig in Stockton on April 17th.
In offering an update on their second album to NME this week, Palma Violets’ bass player Chilli Jesson said: “It’s getting there. We’ve got the songs and we know the sound we want. The songs are so much bigger than before. We’re really experimenting with doing a lot more stuff on our own.”
