Video: Black Submarine premiere debut single ‘Here So Rain’

The video for Black Submarine‘s debut single ‘Here So Rain‘, out on March 3rd, has been premiered and can be viewed by clicking on the snapshot below.

The single precedes its parent album ‘New Shores‘ by a week as the band which was first started by former Verve pair Nick McCabe and Simon Jones in 2008 gets ready to release its maiden studio effort through Kobalt Music on March 9th. The album was mixed by former Oasis and Echo & The Bunnymen cohort Jim Spencer.

Black Submarine also includes Davide Rossi – whom McCabe and Jones first met during the recording of The Verve’s ‘Forth‘ album – Michele ‘Mig’ Schillace (ex-drummer for Portishead) and London-based vocalist Amelia Tucker, and first released the EP ‘Kurofune’ as Black Ships in 2011.

They play a couple of UK dates next month, opening at the Deaf Institute in Manchester on February 5th followed by gigs at Wilton’s Music Hall in London a day later.
