Vampire Weekend’s ‘Con Te Partirò’ cover receives its premiere

Vampire Weekend‘s impressive re-imagining of the Italian love song ‘Con Te Partirò‘ – more specifically Andrea Bocelli‘s mid-Nineties version – has become the latest track to promote the ‘Sweetheart 2014‘ compilation album ahead of its release on Valentine’s Day.

Beck‘s cover of John Lennon‘s ‘Love‘ lead the collection at the start of this month, while artists such as The Head and The Heart, Ben Harper and Fiona Apple have also contributed covers to the album which will be made available through Starbucks outlets in February.
