Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor hints at new music this year

Trent Reznor has suggested Nine Inch Nails could be ready to follow-up ‘Hesitation Marks‘ as early as this year.

Reznor resuscitated Nine Inch Nails for a new album and world tour in 2013, and subsequently described the band as being ‘bigger now than ever before’ upon its return. That enthusiasm appears to be showing no signs of abating, and the frontman has now told Rolling Stone there are plenty of other ideas in the works.

“We’re leaving to go to tour mid-to-late February, in Australia with Queens Of The Stone Age,” he said. “We’ve got dates booked through the end of the summer. A lot of touring ahead. Just started on a new product. Can’t tell you what it is yet. It will take place while touring. New music maybe this fall. Every spare second, and even seconds that aren’t spare, are trying to wrangle this new creation into shape.”

Nine Inch Nails start that tour with Queens Of The Stone Age on March 6th in Sydney.
