Damon Albarn has swiftly backed up the official confirmation of his debut solo album by unleashing its title track and rubber-stamping a headline booking at Latitude in the summer.

Albarn has agreed to perform at Henham Park in Suffolk over the weekend of July 17th-20th for what is expected to be his only UK festival appearance of the year, while the official video for ‘Everyday Robots‘ can now be seen in full by clicking on the frame below. Directed by Aitor Throup, the promo features what is described as a ‘digital portrait’ of the Blur frontman generated from CGI software and cranial scans.

The release date, tracklist and title of Albarn’s first solo album proper were all confirmed yesterday (January 20th). ‘Everyday Robots‘ is out on April 28th after sessions at 13 Studios in London. It was produced by XL boss Richard Russell.
