Alexis Krauss and guitarist/producer Derek Miller released their third album on October 7th, following the 2012 effort ‘Reign Of Terror‘. “Despite the hit-or-miss quality at the core of ‘Reign Of Terror’, Krauss and Miller have to be commended for pushing back at the boundaries they inherently built around themselves with their own aesthetic,” Live4ever’s review remarked when naming it one of our essential albums of last year.
“Attempting to recreate the sense of now that permeated their ascent from anonymity would have assuredly set them up to fail, and at the very least their endeavor to twist their formula inward is a testament towards their boldness of vision.”
The group wrap up a leg of North American dates tonight at Terminal 5 in New York.
