Morrissey has unveiled the full details of the ‘Satellite Of Love‘ single which has been put together in memory of Lou Reed, who died last month.
On January 20th, the singles will be made available on digital, 7″ and 12″ picture disc versions, with the 7″ containing a live version of The Smiths‘ classic ‘…Queen Is Dead‘ album track ‘Vicar In a Tutu‘, while Nineties solo cut ‘You’re Gonna Need Someone On Your Side‘ is included on each edition.
Writing on fansite True To You soon after Lou Reed’s death was made public, Morrissey declared: “No words to express the sadness at the death of Lou Reed. He had been there all of my life. He will always be pressed to my heart. Thank God for those, like Lou, who move within their own laws, otherwise imagine how dull the world would be.”
