Live4ever’s New Tunes Guide feat. Imaginary People, Half Loon and more

Our first New Tunes Guide of November presents highlights from New York-based Imaginary People and brand new quartet Half Loon.

Imaginary People centre around Dylan Von Wagner, and after forming in late 2012 have recently released their self-titled debut EP. Lead track ‘Fresh On’ is a truly sublime slice of, well, indie pop which actually causes that god awful term make a bit of sense all of a sudden. Half Loon are the new vehicle for Coventry songwriter Daniel Pickard, who is now exploring the world of being in a fully fledged band after a successful solo stint which saw him support the likes of Carl Barat and Lee Mavers.

These and eight other picks of the week can be found by scrolling through our latest collection, and you can catch up with all our previous editions by clicking on the New Tunes Guide logo below.
