Video: Arcade Fire premiere studio version of ‘Afterlife’

The gradual unfolding of Arcade Fire‘s new double album ‘Reflektor‘ has continued with the studio version of ‘Afterlife‘ receiving its premiere yesterday evening (October 21st).

After a snippet of the track was teased last week, the full version received a first play on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show on Monday, and was soon followed with an official lyric video which can be viewed below.

Arcade Fire’s fourth studio LP is out on October 28th, and has been gradually showcased with a series of low-key live appearances as this month has progressed. The band were in Brooklyn last weekend for two gigs during New York’s CMJ Music Marathon when much of the album formed a part of the set, while shows in Miami and Los Angeles are also on the horizon.

In addition, they join Neil Young for the 27th annual Bridge School Benefit acoustic concerts over the weekend of October 26th and 27th.
