Video: Albert Hammond Jr. premieres ‘St. Justice’ promo

Albert Hammond Jr. has unveiled an official video for the track ‘St. Justice‘ after the Strokes guitarist released his new solo EP ‘AHJ‘ this week.

Out on his Strokes bandmate Julian Casablancas‘ Cult Records label, the EP comprises five tracks, namely ‘Cooker Ship‘, ‘Strange Tidings‘, ‘Carnal Cruise‘, ‘Rude Customer‘ and the aforementioned ‘St. Justice‘, all of which were produced, engineered and mixed by Gus Oberg in Hammond Jr.’s own New York studio.

“It’s a combination of both previous recordings, which in turn makes it feel like it’s the best material that I’ve made so far,” Hammond Jr. has previously explained. “I’ve been working with Gus since my first solo project, after we met and became best friends. We get along and we understand each other musically, so everything just flows.”

The EP continues an on/off solo career for Hammond Jr. which began in 2006 with the debut ‘Yours to Keep‘, and continued two years later with ‘¿Cómo Te Llama?‘.
