“I wanna be your best friend Don’t want you to be my…” the band belted out as the crowd bounced along. Clearly, the Lambeth Londoners “The Palma Violets” felt right at home on the slippery, beer and drink drenched stage being showered with Gin and Tonic. Slightly disheveled co front man Chilli Jesson at one point pointed his bass at a Rolling Stone magazine editor in the photo pit and took the old AT& T slogan ” Reach out and touch someone ” quite to heart, stomping on his camera with face attached. Punk rock, or what ever you want to call it, had returned to the iconic venue and we were there to catch all the action …. including the “kick ass” moment. Photos © Live4ever Media
