Kings Of Leon have added their name to the BBC’s annual Children In Need fundraising efforts.

This year’s BBC Children In Need Rocks concert has been organised by Take That‘s Gary Barlow, and will be held at the Hammersmith Apollo in London on November 12th and 13th. Kings Of Leon join a bill which also includes Barry Manilow, Robbie Williams, The Wanted, Dizzee Rascal and Little Mix.

“I am absolutely thrilled to have Kings of Leon joining this year’s Rocks concerts, they really are a fantastic addition to the lineup, and I cannot wait to see their performance on the Tuesday night, which is sure to bring the house down,” Barlow remarks.

Meanwhile, the Followill family have also had a performance at the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards confirmed for November 10th, when the ceremony takes place in Amsterdam. The group are nominated in the Best Rock section where they will compete with Black Sabbath, Green Day, Queens Of The Stone Age and The Killers.
